Application

Used for dyeing:

cotton, staple-viscose fibers melange and semi-woollen cloth production;
cotton yarn, knitted fabrics, cloth.

Appearance, properties

Dark-blue homogenous powder, insoluble in water, hydroscopic. Adsorbed by cellulose fibers from alkaline solutions as leuco compounds coloring fibers upon oxidation. May be mixed with other sulphur dyes and allows dyeing both in intermittent and continuous action machines providing uniform colors.
